[/av_textblock] [av_textblock size=” font_color=” color=” custom_class=”] Amazon.Com has recently initiated a corporate philanthropy program which allows Amazon shoppers to direct 0.5 percent of purchases they make at Amazon to the charitable organization of their choice. Amazon will then donate the money on behalf of the customers to that organization.Although there are a few restrictions (ie, digital media products such as Kindle e-books), Amazon Smile has said that “basically every physical product is eligible” for the program.
Your shopping experience will be identical; you will have the same selection and the same prices. The only thing different is that Amazon will allocate part of your purchase amount to the American Eagle Foundation – and that’s a very good thing! So, please remember, when you are looking for something to purchase at Amazon, remember to choose the American Eagle Foundation as your charity of choice! Thank you so much!
