Tens of thousands of eagle lovers and enthusiasts around the Globe have been watching the American Eagle Foundation’s High-Definition Video Cams placed over a wild nest in Northeast Florida—and for a very special reason. Two eggs have hatched over the past several days. One of those happened to hatch Christmas Day, December 25, 2014.

First feeding of Little Eaglet
For over a month, Bald Eagle parents ‘Romeo’ and ‘Juliet’ have been faithfully taking turns incubating two eggs in their nest atop a 90-foot Longleaf pine tree in Northeast Florida. The first eaglet (NE3) hatched on December 23rd and its sibling (NE4) made its way into the world on Christmas Day.
A “Name The Eaglets Contest” will soon be announced, which will be made available to members of the Tennessee based non-profit organization American Eagle Foundation.
