Bald Eagle ‘Mr. Lincoln’ meets members of the 101st Airborne’s Screaming Eagles.
Bald Eagle ‘Mr. Lincoln’ and American Eagle Foundation President Al Cecere participated in special events during the 101st Airborne’s ‘Week of the Eagles’ on Sunday (Aug. 16, 2009) and Thursday (Aug. 20, 2009). This photo was taken at the Division Review with Maj. Gen. John F. Campbell, Commander of the 101st Airborn Division, and Command Sergeant Major Vincent Comancho saluting their 20,000 ‘Screaming Eagles’ troops being inspected on the parade field. The AEF eagle and staff also participated in an official welcome home ceremony for hundreds of Vietnam Veterans hosted by the 101st.
