This year, American Eagle Foundation has given our dedicated team of volunteers at NEFL the honor of selecting their top five names for our beloved eaglet.

The names selected are listed below along with the meaning for each name:

Asher: Meaning blessed and also means happiness, happy, fortunate, happy one.
Bodie: The name has several meanings but one is “wisdom” and “awakening” (also Bodhi).
Shiloh: Meaning peace.
Scout: Indicates sent to discover, listen, and will make their world their own.
Trooper: A patriotic connection to the military but also speaks to someone’s fighter spirit and perseverance.

We’re thrilled to announce a special opportunity for you to make an impact and have fun doing it!

You can vote as many times as you like!

Your participation in this special event isn’t just about picking a name—it directly supports our mission of conservation, education, and protection efforts at AEF NEFL including associated wildlife cam program costs. *equipment, internet, maintenance, IT fees, etc.

The premise of the “Name NE31” fundraiser is simple:
#1 – Five names have been selected by our NEFL volunteer team: Each name was deliberately chosen to highlight the hatching of NE31, Gabrielle and Beau’s very first eaglet!
#2 – For a donation of $5 per vote, you can “stuff the ballot” for your favorite name for NE31. Feel free to vote for your selection as many times as you want. The name that raises the most donations will be the name given to NE31.
#3 – The final naming announcement will be made on 2-24-25 at 2pm est.
